TAION is an inner down wear brand that originated from Japan. They have developed high-quality, high-performance inner down vests that can maintain 'Taion' which means 'body temperature' in Japanese.
The inner is constructed from Down (feather) using the feathers of mature waterfowl. (90% down, 10% feathers) Feathers are light and have good resilience.
The outer material uses super water-repellent high-density nylon fabric, which is not only water-repellent but also stain-resistant. In addition, an AC coating is applied to the back surface of the outer material to minimize feather blowout.
- Made of soft and stretchy high-density nylon fabric.
- Made from high quality 800FLP down (feathers) with high bulk. It is lighter than commonly used down (typically around 600 flp) and can trap insulating warm air pockets
- YKK zippers are used on the front and both sides.
- Equipped with zipper slits on both sides.
- Patch pockets on the left and right hips.
